Science in the City

Have you ever heard about the Malta Biobank? Do you even know what a biospecimen is? Your answer is probably no, because few are familiar with the concepts. Therefore on Friday, we set up just outside the Valletta City Gate to educate inquisitive attendees at Science in the City.

Our setup: a simple wooden box draped in red. Oh, and a superhero, a scientist and a few unexpected guests. That was the backdrop of Dwarna’s puppet show. The lighthearted educational production was prepared by More or Less Theatre, and engrossed young onlookers and their parents alike.

Dwarna’s puppet show followed Mr Moustachio’s and his famous travelling show. When something goes wrong and the travelling show has to be interrupted, it is up to the science and the Malta Biobank to give a hand.
